Technology Specialist

Position Title: Technology Specialist

Reports to: Director of Technology

Location: Remote w/some travel required (Atlanta based required)

Travel Requirements: Up to 25%

Status: Full-Time / Exempt

Overall Responsibility:

Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Technology Specialist primary functions will be to perform the majority of internal core team technology support as well as supporting the Director of Technology in core team-focused projects. The Technology Specialist will own many functions related to the ordering, distribution and maintenance of various company technology including computers, tablets and other devices. In addition to this, the Technology Specialist will have additional responsibilities related to helping company team members with inquiries and guidance, distributing reports, and executing maintenance of various functions on programs like Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive and more. Additional responsibilities will include streamlining communications between the technology department and the core team. 

Primary Functions:

  • Provide internal core technology support
  • Technology chat, ticketing system, and Technology email inbox monitoring
  • Order and manage the deployment of new computers and home office equipment
  • Assist in data management
  • Obtain and distribute reports through Salesforce, DoorSwap, and any other utilized platform based on team member requests
  • Setup and release of Twilio subaccounts; submission of Twilio credentials to DoorSwap during setup of new properties including and vacate survey links
  • Managing DoorSwap related maintenance like entering DoorSwap ID on property record when obtained, maintaining property manager signatures for digital documents and ensuring properties are inactive when accounting is complete
  • Management of team member organizational data in Salesforce
  • Management and maintenance of Teams organization setup
  • Weekly posting of technology tips on Teams
  • Development of technology training materials
  • Once a month in-person meeting and weekly Teams call with the Director of Technology, and a minimum of twice yearly in-person department meetings.
  • Visit properties to help with onsite tech needs in local area on a consistent basis upon request
  • Handle technology reimbursements
  • Monitor Absolute technology inventory
  • Set up and monitor Absolute Microsoft accounts
  • Provide basic Salesforce introduction
  • Guide core team on OneDrive issues and usage
  • Create SOPs for technology-orientated tasks and processes
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft products 
  • Expert knowledge in technology-related material

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of experience in Technology/IT field preferred
  • Remote work experience preferred

Pay Range: $47,000-$52,000 per year
